My life took a profound turn when my son was born. In the first month of navigating my new role as a mother, I learned he had heart issues—and soon after, he was also diagnosed with Down Syndrome.
I quit my job and devoted myself entirely to his well-being. It became my mission to do whatever it took to help him thrive.
Fast forward five years, and I found myself drowning in stress. One challenge after another had left me depleted. I had pushed myself too hard, ignored my own needs, and failed to draw boundaries - too much giving in to other people and what they would think.
The result? Chronic digestive issues, insomnia, and anxiety. And despite all my efforts, my son was still struggling too.
Conventional advice wasn’t working for either of us. The overwhelming, conflicting nutrition and wellness recommendations left me frustrated.
That’s when I realized something crucial: I was missing a deeper foundation. I wanted to understand the wisdom that had sustained generations before us.
I had been studying Ayurveda - the ancient medicine science of India on my own through books for a while. But I was struggling to really integrate it and put it into practice. I just didn’t know where to start and how the ancient wisdom fit into my modern life.
I needed a teacher. Someone who had truly lived this wisdom.
After searching, I finally found the perfect guide. Under her mentorship, I immersed myself in Ayurveda and began implementing small, time-honored strategies tailored to my body’s needs.
And everything changed…
✨Just a couple of months in, I noticed something incredible—I was having normal, regular bowel movements without taking any medicines or herbs. Tiny shifts had snowballed into real transformation.
✨ Three months in, I felt like a different person.
✨ Six months in, my digestive issues were completely gone. My sleep had fully restored. And for the first time in years, I felt strong enough to handle whatever life threw at me.
What I’ve learned—both from my journey and from my teacher—is that the simplest, most foundational shifts can have the most profound impact on our health and well-being.
This transformation inspired me to share this wisdom, and that’s why I’m here.
